Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using CertKeeper ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Description of Service
CertKeeper is a compliance tracking application designed to help licensed professionals manage certifications, licenses, vaccinations, CEU credits, work badges, state licenses, and employment requirements. The App provides:
- Expiration tracking and reminders
- Document storage and organization
- Automatic CEU extraction from certifications (CEU credits extracted from documents are added to your CEU tab)
- Calendar sync for expiration dates (Premium feature)
- Email reminders for critical alerts (Premium feature)
- Compliance report generation (Premium feature)
- Healthcare tools including dosage calculator, unit converters, and shift checklist (Premium feature)
- Cloud Sync for data backup across devices (email and Apple Sign-In)

CertKeeper is a reminder and organizational tool. It is NOT a guarantee of compliance.
- You remain responsible for verifying all expiration dates and renewal requirements with your employer and licensing boards
- Always confirm compliance status independently
- The App cannot replace official verification processes
- Notifications may not be delivered if permissions are disabled or device is unavailable
User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Ensuring all information entered is accurate and up-to-date
- Verifying expiration dates with official sources
- Enabling notifications in iOS Settings to receive reminders
- Maintaining your own backup records
- Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
- Using the App in accordance with these Terms
Subscription and Payment
CertKeeper offers a 7-day free trial. After the trial period, a subscription is required to continue using the App.
- Subscriptions are billed through the App Store
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- You can cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store account settings
- No refunds are provided for unused portions of subscription periods
- Premium features require an active subscription
Healthcare Tools Disclaimer
CertKeeper includes healthcare-specific tools (Dosage Calculator, Unit Converters, IV Drip Rate Calculator, Shift Checklist). These tools:
- Are provided for reference only
- Do not provide medical advice or clinical recommendations
- Must be verified against provider orders and facility policy
- Are not a substitute for professional medical judgment
You are responsible for verifying all calculations and following your facility's protocols.
Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, features, and content, is owned by CertKeeper and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
- Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Data and Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- CertKeeper is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
- We are not liable for any missed renewals, compliance issues, or employment consequences
- We are not liable for any data loss, except as required by law
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim
Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time through Settings > Account Management > Delete Account. Account deletion permanently removes all your data from our servers and clears local app data. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription—subscriptions must be cancelled separately through your App Store account settings.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which CertKeeper operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
